5Anchors away!

I've got this dress in the dotty design, so when it showed up covered in anchors I was in love (although not with the original price tag, so I had to wait for a sale!). The skirt is really full and looks brilliant with a petticoat on underneath, and I'm over the moon with the tiers (I just love a tiered skirt). The material is sturdy and comfortable and the little anchors are so pretty. The matching belt is good for cinching my waist in a little for a good silhouette. Like the other reviewer noted, the dress is probably best for those with larger busts. I had a little bit of gape that I had to fold inwards to make it sit right. Overall a gorgeous dress, I hope they release more in different patterns. <3

5Cute retro dress with real full circle skirt

So many swing dresses are a bit of a disappointment because the skirts are more of an A-line than a circle. As you can see from the photograph, the Erina does not disappoint and because of the tiers actually has more fabric in the skirt than a full circle would require. This dress in pure cotton with cotton ric-rac trim reminds me as much of my childhood in the early 70s, as the 50s which it really represents. The little girl in me just loves that flouncy skirt and the fun but not too fussy nautical print. My more mature self is pleased with the belt which has the prong and holes required to stay properly fastened and the flattering fit of the top, as well as the length which is authentic for a women of 5'9". My only problem with the fit is that, as I do not have a large bust, I may have to put a couple of tiny pleats in the square neck to keep the fabric flat to my chest. In every other way I am delighted.
