Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Manager - Vintage Fashion


Established in 2000, in London, as a stall within Camden Market. Over the past 20 years, Collectif has grown to have two London based stores in Camden & Old Spitalfields and another boutique in Brighton. We design and manufacture our own clothing and all prints are unique and created in-house. Collectif specialises in 1940s, 50s, 60s, & 70s inspired pieces across womenswear, menswear, and Shoes.


Collectif is now in the process of building our Online team and this role marks a great opportunity to lead & grow the department. Assisting hires would follow soon after employment so this represents an exciting opportunity for the right candidate. We have a huge amount of opportunity for expansion further into the US & Europe direct to consumer. This role would also include leading the key company project of re-launching the ecommerce platform via a series of UK & International websites for their in-house brands. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • The ability to drive the e-commerce international growth strategy in line with strategic objectives and develop strong annual business plans to deliver against the budgeted growth targets 
  • Managing the direction & output of the in-house Marketing & Ecommerce team Responsible for Digital Marketing strategy and updating the Marketing calendar 
  • Planning & creation of Marketing campaigns collaborating with Creative Director 
  • Working with external partners for the web platform to maintain & develop the sites, which will include hands-on troubleshooting as required 
  • Management of PPC via Google, Bing & Paid Social Media campaigns via 3rd party supplier 
  • Responsible for Email Strategy, maintaining and improving open & conversion rates Identify risk/opportunities to sales plans and collaborate with cross functional teams to develop action plans to achieve financial goals 
  • Recap and review sales performance, online analytics, customer data and other KPIs to formulate actionable insights that actively drive Online trade 
  • Constant monitoring of websites, to ensure appropriate products are online and merchandised in line with brand and customer expectations; identifying product opportunities 
  • Reporting to the Managing Director you will also participate in weekly trade meetings, produce website performance reports and analysis for management trading meetings 
  • Project manage new website and brand launches as well as new season launches 
  • Share results and best practice leanings with the wider cross functional organisation 


Key Requirements: 

  • The company is looking for a hands-on all-rounder, able to task with the team, as well as direct them. 
  • Experience in running in-house photoshoots both model & cut-outs preferred, though not essential 
  • Team Management & development experience; able to present facts, opinions and proposals persuasively to colleagues. 
  • The company is looking for an experienced, knowledgeable and confident online trading specialist, ideally in the fashion retail environment. 
  • Educated to degree level preferable 
  • Grounded commercial experience within an account management capacity, coupled with an understanding of the inner workings of a P&L 
  • Advanced data analytics, problem solving, process/project management and communication skills 
  • Strategic Awareness & Thinking – Develops new ideas, considers potential outcomes and develops action plans.
